Back by popular demand.

Well here I am. Maybe not back by popular demand, or by any demand at all, but god damn it here I am.

This weekend is getting set to be a cracker. All day Saturday is going to be filled with the annual work boat cruise. Basically, we all get on a boat at Main Beach and consume all the free alcohol we can until we reach our destination. At said destination there is more booze, complimented by lunch and watersports. This is then followed by the return leg on the boat, with, you guessed it, more alcohol.

Jill and I were going to stay down the coast on Saturday night, but it will be an early start on Sunday back in Brisbane for a day filled with XBox/PS2 gaming with a room full of sweaty men.
I am hoping that the crowd at this event won't be the typical sweaty fat man crowd usually found at these events. I am fully expecting to get horribly pantsed at this event, due to the fact that I own neither a PS2 or an XBox. Anyway, it's catered so it should be pretty good.

After a full day of 'cold lan sweat' it looks like its dinner on Sunday night with Glen and Ros. Somewhere.

Other news... I am finally getting a real PC at work. For too many years I have been stuck with a Pentium.. No numbers after the Pentium. This is the original. It is so slow I am assuming that my pentium was the first pentium rolled off the production line and was thus showered in champagne and passed around the hookers generally found at these events becoming progressively more and more dirty as it covered the hooker population.

I will finally be able to run lotus note from my desk and will therefore be able to access email from my desk. At this point in time I have to walk upstairs to someone elses computer to check my email. Then at the end of the day I shout yabba dabba do and slide down the dinosaur back. You gotta love the transport industry. Go technology. woo.

New PC should come equipped with a sexy TFT monitor. So I might not post again for a while as I will be at work guarding said monitor against theft with a large stick and a jar of bees.

Unsure Ninja Cat VS Stumpy the Dog... a tale of two enemies

Alone in an urban jungle of lounge chairs and grey carpet sat two enmies. The sunlight filtered gently in through the blinds, distrubed only by the gentle travel of dust as it settled to earth. Slowly circling, the two ancient enemies tried to aquire a taste for the others weakness, a chink in the armour, through which to score the fatal blow.

Sensing an opening, Oscar, ninja, trained in the mighty arts of stealth and unseen death blows, reached for a smokebomb and through it straight for his ememy. Trapped in a cloud of smoke, Sparky waited for the attack that he knew was surely coming. Pulse quickening and senses straining, Sparky turned full circle looking for his assailant. Sensing nothing but an empty room and believing that his enemy had fled, he returned to meditation in preperation of their next meeting.

Oscar, hidden in the shadows saw his nemesis enter the lotus position and knew it was time to strike. Equiping his needle tipped, razor sharp claws, he struck out at his enemy. Sparky, sensing the rapidly approaching danger turned to face his enemy. As he turned he saw the flash of the claws too late and was struck a grevious blow to the face. He gave a mighty cry and tried to retaliate but was overwhelmed at the last and fell to his enemy's onslaught.

Thus ends this chapter of a tale of two enemies.

PS For those who don't know Oscar = mine and Jill's cat and Sparky = Roz and Glen's dog.

Congratulations..... it's a Blog

Man, I knew that they made this easy but shit... this is unbelievable... JoJo the space monkey could use this. If only he had opposable thumbs. Poor JoJo.

I was going to say that the only downfall was that there was no spellcheck function. . naturally after seeing the spelling in Glen's posts I assumed that there was none.

But lo and behold there is one and he is just to lazy to use it . .. but it does not contain the word blog.. go figure.

So yeah, this is my blog. Or as the spellchecker wants to call it .... my bloc.

So welcome to the Soviet Bloc. Damn Reds.
